OTS Team Honored with KSPC Safety Award

Congratulations to our OTS KSPC Team

OTS Safety Award KSPC Potash Handing Facility, Pacific Coast TerminalsOTS has been awarded the Project Safety Contractor of the Month Award for K+S Potash Canada’s (KSPC) potash handling and storage facility located at Pacific Coast Terminals (PCT) bulk handling terminal in Port Moody, BC. The award was in recognition of OTS’ strong observation program along with the top safety record on site for the month of April 2017. We would like to extend congratulations to our KSPC OTS team on their commitment to safety and for the proactive use of our behavior observation program on site.

Projects are Becoming Paperless

We have undergone some recent changes in order to upgrade our service to clients and increase our efficiency for reporting. Technology is always advancing and we wanted to be part of impacting change for the commissioning industry. We are now utilizing Continuum Edge (CE) Completions Management System. We have now transitioned all of our completions data and have established processes to utilize CE on our new projects with significant reductions in paper usage.

OTS & Agrium Donate to Rainbow Room

Partnering to Give Back

Rainbow Room Volunteers & OTS Staff Recently we had the opportunity to partner with one of our clients, Agrium to raise funds for an outreach program in  Borger, Texas. Agrium and OTS recently held a barbeque to raise funds for the Rainbow Room of Borger for a backpack and coat drive campaign. Dyer's BBQ, United Supermarket and The Plaza all assisted with donations for the cause. The BBQ served more than 100 people and raised $2000.00 through purchase and donations from participants. Agrium pledged to match the funds raised by the BBQ bringing the total to $4000.00. 

Fort McMurray Wildfires

OTS is working in cooperation with our clients to provide full support of all emergency efforts and evacuation procedures currently in effect in Fort McMurray and area. As safety is always our priority, we can assure that our employees are safe and will be at the forefront of our minds during this difficult time.  Our thoughts are with all of those touched by this event.

OTS Announces Fundraising Challenge

OTS has launched a new fundraising campaign dubbed "The OTS $25,000 Challenge" which is a partnership CBRM Mayor Cecil Clarke's campaign "Cape Breton Goes Bald." The Cape Breton Goes Bald campaign had a fundraising goal of $10,000, if that number was reached Mayor Clarke along with other community leaders agreed to shave their heads in support of the Cape Breton Cancer Centre.
